Recipes For Single Guys
I dare you to eat this
First a confession. I tried a recipe similar to this earlier in the month, and I was able to finish only half my plate before I walked over to the sink and put the whole batch down the garbage disposal. After a few revisions, this one is, I promise, at least a little bit better.
Here's your grocery list:
Supplies
My first big mistake was not cooking the tots long enough. Drop some frozen Tater Tots into the cooking pan. Cover the bottom, but don't pile them in more than two deep. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
While that's underway, chop up the onion into little chunks and slice five wieners into little meat discs.
Take the top off of the Cheez Wiz jar and cook it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Take it out, stir up the Wiz with a butter knife and put it back in the microwave. Continue doing this, cooking no more than 20 seconds at a time, until you can pour it out into the mixing bowl. Then fill the jar half way with milk and add the milk to the runny cheese and put the mixing bowl back in the microwave for 60 seconds. The milk won't mix in with the cheese very well until after it's cooked, but after you take the mixing bowl out of the microwave, do stir up the cheese and milk until it's smooth.
Once the potatoes have cooked for twenty minutes, take the pan out. Pile the onions and cut up wieners on top of the tot and then pour the cheese sauce over the whole mix. The cheese should not drown the other ingredients.
Put the pan back in the oven and continue to cook at 400 degrees for another 20-25 minutes.
Serve hot. Suggested beverage: beer.
Chow.
